Cold plunge therapy uses brief cold exposure to reduce inflammation, ease soreness, and speed recovery. Helping your body heal and recharge naturally.
Session Length:
Cold plunge sessions typically last 1–3 minutes, making them quick, effective, and easy to add to your recovery routine.
Experience:
You’ll step into a controlled cold environment designed to deliver benefits while remaining safe and manageable. Sessions are guided to ensure comfort throughout.
How It Feels:
You may feel an intense cooling sensation at first, followed by a refreshing, energized feeling once the session ends.
Safety:
Our cold plunge sessions use advanced temperature-controlled technology and take place in a clean, professionally monitored environment to support safe recovery.
Our plunge runs in the low 50s Fahrenheit. Cold enough to do something, not so cold that you can’t stay in.
Most people start at 1 to 2 minutes and work up to 3 to 5. If it’s your first time, get in slowly and focus on breathing out longer than you breathe in — that’s most of what makes it bearable. The first 30 seconds are the hardest part; after that your body settles.
You don’t get extra benefit from staying in longer than about 5 minutes, so there’s no reason to tough it out.
The main reasons our clients use it: reducing inflammation, easing muscle soreness after training, and improving circulation. A lot of people also come for how they feel afterward the alertness and mood lift are real and immediate.
Athletes and anyone training regularly get the most obvious benefit, but plenty of our members use it for general recovery and stress rather than sport.
One caveat worth knowing: if you’re specifically training for muscle growth, cold plunging right after lifting may blunt some of those gains. In that case, plunge on rest days or a few hours after your session.
A single walk-in cold plunge session is $40.
Most people use a membership instead. Starter is $99/month for 8 credits — about $12 a session — and those credits also cover red light therapy, infrared sauna, and compression therapy. Standard is $149 for 12 credits, Premium is $197 for unlimited.
At our Round Rock location we also offer contrast therapy: a private 60-minute room with both infrared sauna and cold plunge, for $60.
If you’re doing both, sauna first, then plunge. Heat opens up circulation, cold contracts it, and alternating between them is where contrast therapy gets its effect. Finishing cold also leaves you alert rather than sleepy.
If you’re only doing one, it depends what you’re after. Sauna for relaxation, stress, and general recovery. Cold plunge for inflammation, soreness, and a mental lift.
Not sure? Try both on separate visits and see which one you actually look forward to. That’s usually the one you’ll stick with, and consistency matters more than picking the theoretically optimal option.

The red light therapy, cold plunge, and massage were all top-tier and left me feeling completely renewed. The space is clean, calming, and clearly designed with wellness in mind. The staff were welcoming, knowledgeable, and made the whole experience feel personalized and relaxing.Posted on AlexisTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I highly recommend a massage by Rodney followed by red light therapy! Hands down the best massage I’ve ever had. The facility was very clean, both of my sessions were on time, and I am now very relaxed! I will absolutely be back.Posted on ShelleyTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. There's such a difference when a massage therapist has intuition. I've been a masseuse for over 40 years and have sustained multiple injuries derived from repetitive motion. Rodney is a body builder, trainer and masseuse who has worked in multiple settings including ships, chiropractic clinics, spas and wellness settings. He not only has the knowledge and experience, but the intuitive knowing that makes your experience one of profound change. Multiple issues were addressed within my first hour. I will be a regular as his work is that effective!Posted on WEITrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Rodney is amazing! I liked his technique and the pressure he used for my deep tissue massage. I will come back!Posted on ChristineTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Rodney was great! Would Recommend!Posted on ShefaliTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I did cryo, red light therapy, and the normatech leg compression sleeves here. The staff were incredibly kind and informative from the moment I arrived. I was new to a lot of these treatments, and they walked me through what to expect and what would make sense for the issues I was having. The facility itself is clean and comforting, and the treatments had me feeling so relaxed and rejuvenated on my way out! Highly recommend.Posted on CheriTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. You all have helped me get so much mobility back. I enjoy our conversations as much as the therapies! It's my favorite place to go. I am fairly certain the prices can't be beat either!
